What to expect

• Meet at a designated scenic location (like Sugarloaf, Presque Isle, Big Bay, or Munising shoreline).

• Learn the basics of plein air painting through a short, relaxed demo.

• Create your own landscape painting with guidance from Gary.

• Enjoy light refreshments and plenty of time to relax and explore.

• All materials provided — just bring your curiosity!

No experience needed!

You don’t have to be an artist — just someone who wants to slow down and soak in the moment. Gary’s relaxed teaching style makes this an approachable and rewarding experience for all levels.

How to book

Limited spots available — especially in summer and fall!

• Schedule: Morning (9am–12pm) or Evening (5pm–8pm) sessions available

• Season: May through October

• Group size: 2–10 people

Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. We paint rain or shine — covered pavilions are available if needed!
