BIO

In 2024, I stepped away from twenty years of screen loops, automated systems, and optimizing global software architectures. I left the relentless digital cycles to find a different kind of focus.

Living in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula since 2017, I now drag raw canvas directly onto the brutal, unpredictable shorelines of Lake Superior.

This isn’t a leisure hobby, an aesthetic escape, or a decorative weekend craft. The easel is a ruthless cognitive gym. Standing in freezing northern winds, forcing my eyes to judge changing light without an interface and making manual oil marks is how I rescue my own brain from algorithmic decay.

This is a High-Friction Analog Simulator. Every piece of artwork produced here is an irreversible choice metric designed to reverse application-switching latency, eliminate digital offloading and expand deep attention capacity. The physical paintings archived in this gallery aren't just art—they are my ultimate visual telemetry logs, the definitive proof-of-work proving human focus remains irreplaceable in a post-AI workforce.

When you purchase a canvas from this studio, you are acquiring the physical artifact of that resistance.
